THE
DOROTHY MARSHALL
BOOK GROUP

The Hobart Book Village Book Group was established in the late summer of 2010 in Hobart, New York, and in 2011 renamed the Dorothy Marshall Book Group (DMBG), after the late Dorothy (“Dot”) Marshall (1927-2011).  Dot Marshall was an active member of the Hobart Book Village Coop, an ardent member of the Book Group, and a local philanthropist.  The DMBG meets monthly on Saturdays, usually in the home of Bridget and Dick Stinson of South Kortright.

Members of the group include:  Mary Lou Anarella, Cheryl Clarke, Barbara Coleman, Kristin Masters, Ronnie Nolen, Barbara Hoover Stevens, Bridget Stinson, Diane Wickham. 

The DMBG is currently reading  Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones
