Winter Respite Lecture Series ~ 16th Season ~ For the past fifteen years, Diana and Bill Adams offered you the Winter Respite Lecture Series in their bookshop. This Year begins a new chapter as the location will now take place in the gallery within Liberty Rock Books, LLC at 678 Main Street in Hobart.
As in the past, each lecture differs in topic and yields insight to diverse worlds as presented by authors, educators, historians and noted personalities among others. The Winter Respite Lecture Series has both enlightened and enlivened the community with its varied talks and presentations. It has evolved into a popular monthly event designed to combat the doldrums of frosty, less inspiring days. All lectures are held on Sundays at 2 pm and are followed by refreshments. There is no charge and all are welcome, although seating may be limited, so please come early. Given weather and illness, please call 607-538-1760 to confirm date and topic. Join us if you can! |
